About  Buana:

Buana is what we call an "old soul" people often say we can't call him a real dog, he's more human!
It's maybe because of his look in combination with his general apperance.
Buana can feel people very very good, it seems he can understand us or someting like that, it's so hard to explain so you'll have to come and experience it by yourself if you want.
Buana did get a lot of people as far they want to hug him, while they sometimes have fear of dogs in general. 

Aside of his little "gift" Buana is a very enthousiastic and typical Basenji.
He has a very kind caracter, very easy going with all kind of animals and he is great with children.
We think he is here on earth for children, he likes to enjoy them with or without they touch them.
He will yodel for them, makes al kind of funny moves, let them pet him, hug him and kiss him.
Sometimes he enjoys them so much, the kids almost roll over the floor and laugh!
Buana lives on a big ship (look at the link above the page: over ons), he likes it very much and may often ran loose at the hatches and sometimes you can find him in his life-jacket around the ship.
Buana performs very good on dogshows were you can find us regular.

Future:

We've tested Buana for possible physical defects, thanks to the great results he is now available as stud for suitable females.
We tested him because we stand for healthy breed results and maybe even improvement in this breed.
